LRI Press respects your privacy. This notice summarizes what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Account information, order history, billing address where required for payment or tax administration, and marketing status. When you use a readiness assessment or Resident Action Center builder, we also collect your name and email; optional phone number; property, unit, association, and recipient details; selected answers; factual descriptions you enter; the generated document; submission source; template version; and delivery and access timestamps. We never sell or rent your information.
To deliver purchases, assessments, and resident-action documents; maintain a useful request history; protect against fraud and abuse; improve and measure our publishing tools; understand which topics and jurisdictions readers need; and send Board Briefing resources and relevant product updates. Assessment and builder submission buttons include the marketing disclosure that applies to that submission.
We keep two, and they are separate. Board Briefing is a free five-part practical series, joined by requesting a document from the Board Readiness Score or the Resident Action Center. Publication Notices is the shorter list joined by ticking the box on a capture form: word when a title ships, and occasional product updates. Consenting to one does not enroll you in the other. If you unsubscribe, we record that decision against your email address permanently, and using a free tool again will not put you back on either list.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, payment-card information, medical records, privileged legal communications, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary to prepare the requested document. Secure document links expire after 30 days. Structured action records and generated documents are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months so we can support the request history and improve future tools, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or active-customer purposes. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
When you download a purchased file, we record the download: the license it was made against, the time, the network address the request came from, and the browser identification your device sends. We keep that record for the life of the license. We use it only to operate and protect the license — to confirm a download reached you, and to detect a single license being used by many people at once. Every file we serve is also personalised to the buyer, as described in the Licence.
Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Loops (Board Briefing and marketing email), PostHog (first-party site analytics), Sentry (error diagnostics), and Vercel (hosting). Each is bound by its own terms and data-processing agreements.
You can view your orders and update your contact information at any time in your account, and request access to or deletion of your account and action-center information by writing to press@lripress.com.
Every email sent to you as a member of either list carries a one-click unsubscribe link, as does each of the two messages that create a membership: your Board Readiness report and your Resident Action Center document. The link needs no sign-in, never expires, takes effect immediately, and removes your address from both lists at once — there is no confirmation step and no survey. Order receipts and download links carry no unsubscribe control, because they are not list membership: they are records of a purchase you made, and they continue to be delivered whether or not you are on a list.
Strictly-necessary cookies are used for sign-in sessions and secure checkout. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
When configured, PostHog records page and conversion events using a first-party analytics cookie and browser-storage entry, which lets us understand how visitors find and use this site — including which campaign or referring link brought them here. It honors browser Do Not Track signals, and there is no autocapture, no session recording, and no advertising pixel on this site. Sensitive account, authentication, admin, redemption, seat-claim, verification, and secure resident-document routes are excluded from pageview analytics; public pageviews omit query strings. LRI Press does not send email addresses or free-text form responses to PostHog.
