The editorial brief
A field manual for New York homeowners association boards.
This edition is being built for directors, officers, committee leaders, and managers who need to move from the governing rule to a defensible operating decision. It will preserve the same practical-first structure, source discipline, and boardroom utility established by the published LRI Press handbooks.
Source foundation
The association’s actual legal form and governing documents, recorded covenants, applicable New York statutes and local requirements, and relevant federal authority. The edition will not imply that one universal HOA statute exists.
